Nunti Bō

Nunti bō (sometimes also spelled Nunte bō) is used in a similar way as the Bō. The central staff has two prongs, one facing away and one facing toward the opponent. It can be used to spear, strike, or hook the opponent with the backward prong. Oyata once said that the rear facing hook could pull a soldier off their horse. This was not the only use, but its length very much made it a useful weapon against mounted opponents.

Note: Nunti are different than Manji in that Nunti tangs are centered where Manji are offset.
