Dojo/Shihan Dai News

It is anticipated that sometime before Feb 2025, Lee Richards will be moving to North Carolina. The current dojo will be 'passed on' and moved to another location within the KC Metro area. Lee will continue to visit probably 4 times a year due to work travel, but other instructors will take over as primary in Kansas City. Due to this, we are discouraging any new students at this time and have moved the dojo to 'Private Status'. Thanks for 28 years at this location.

This dojo has passed on! This dojo is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it'd be pushing up the daisies! Its metabolic processes are now history! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-DOJO!!

Remaining Dojo/Shihan Dai Hours

Dojo dates will be roughly twice a week. Dates subject to change so check night before. Check Calendar

February

Feb 08 - 0900-1200

February is way speculative with buying a house as well as Florida Seminar on Feb 21-23.

March

March may be impossible. I have two large, 5-Day seminars at the end of March in St. Louis and Kansas City. It is POSSIBLE that March 29 may work. The other 3 Saturdays I won't know until 1-2 days before they arrive as to if I will even be in town.

April

Saturday April 5th - I will be finishing the NLETC Conference on April 4th. We could possibly have a class on the 5th. On the 6th I will begin moving my Mother.

September/October

September 27/28 and Oct 4/5 - Lee will be in town for the NLETC Conference between those dates, staying near Liberty, MO. If someone wants to host some training time while I am in town, please let me know. We could do it more like a mini seminar, as in, 4-6 hours instead of just 2 hours like a normal class IF someone wants to host. Could do 2 locations as well. May also check with Shugosha.
